It may sound counterintuitive at first, but reflecting on the humorous aspect of a change can take away some of the negativity associated with it and make it easier to cope.

Learning how to approach shifts with a sense of lightheartedness is an invaluable skill for any person who will most likely encounter changes in several aspects of their lives.
